Setting Up Your Truck
Learn how to operate the Project: ALM application and correctly import the company's truck modules.
Getting yourself set up with virtual trucking companies can be extremely difficult at times, and that's why the Nova Link team has decided to provide a fully-fledged guide as to how to do so. It is a requirement to utilize the Nova Link livery and exterior modules whilst in a convoy, so please ensure that you follow the steps below closely.
Project: ALM
Run by the trustworthy organisation 'Insanux', Project: ALM is an application which allows users to import customized vehicles into their game without any fuss.
Downloading & Installing
You can download Project: ALM on the official website. It should come as a '.zip' file - extract it and inside should be the '.exe' application. There are no further steps required; ensure you keep this file somewhere safe.
Using the Application
Upon opening the application, things start to get complex. Don't worry, we're still here to help.
Importing the Nova Link Truck
Now, let's import Nova Link's company truck. Before we do this, there are some important steps we must take:
Open your Euro Truck Simulator 2 single-player game
Ensure the profile you are using does not save to the steam cloud - watch this video for help
'Continue Career' as you would normally
Hover over the 'System' tab and click on 'Save Game'
Create two new saves - one for backup and one specifically for importing the truck
Ensure that you have a truck that you are willing to swap-out for Nova Link's own
Now we have prepared to perform the save-edit, you can head back into Project: ALM. We're ready for the big stuff now:
Head over to the 'Save Edits' tab in Project: ALM
Select the profile you are using in the right drop-down menu
Moving to the right, select the save-game you prepared earlier for the truck to be imported
Go to the 'Truck Editor' tab
Using the first drop-down menu you see, select the truck you are willing to swap-out with Nova Link's own
Select the 'Import Full Truck' button at the bottom and select the '.txt' file which you can download by clicking here
Press the 'Save Changes' button in the bottom right
God, that was hard; you've done it now.
Using the Truck
Reload your Euro Truck Simulator 2 single-player game and load the save you imported the truck into. You should now find the Nova Link company truck, labelled as a 'Scania S High Roof' which should* look something like this:

Use this truck when convoying with the company. For any other time, it's not needed.
